A new update for the Hitman: ICA Companion App has just been released!
Whether you’re using Android or iOS, we’ve packed in new content, optimised performance and made a whole bunch of improvements across the board.
The first thing you’ll notice is that we simplified the signup/login process to make it as easy as possible to get going with the app and access the newly added mission briefings for Silent Assassin, Contracts, Blood Money and Sniper Challenge. (It’s up to you whether you read them in Diana’s voice or not but we find that it’s hard not to.) Achievement/trophy tracking for Hitman: HD Trilogy has also been added, the ICA Files section has been updated with target and location descriptions for Absolution and the overall filesize on both platforms has been reduced. If you’re interested in digging further into the details, the full list of improvements and a handy FAQ are posted in our forums.
The companion app syncs directly with Hitman Absolution on all launch platforms to let you check statistics, upgrade weapons and purchase disguises. You can also browse through the fan-created Contracts and queue them onto your console or PC for later, so the game is ready to go whenever you want to play.
After you’ve pushed them to Absolution, you can always check out the ‘Featured Contracts’ for more inspiration. These Contracts are hand-picked by our community team to make sure there’s always something fresh for you to play.
Lastly, we know from the forum discussions and countless tweets that many of you are eager for more information about the new Hitman game that we’re working on here at IOI. It’s great to see so much excitement and we’ll be revealing more in the next few months.
Exciting times ahead!
